Workshop Overview: A Guide to Our Mobility, Recovery & Myofascial Release Offerings

An evergreen resource for studios, partners, and individuals exploring our workshop experiences.

Workshop setup with yoga props arranged in a studio.
Mobility and Recovery Workshops create space for deeper learning, mobility, and recovery.

Today’s movers—athletes, yogis, desk workers, and beginners—are looking for ways to feel better in their bodies, reduce strain, and move with greater ease. As training intensity increases and lifestyles become more demanding, workshops rooted in recovery, mobility, and myofascial release have become essential offerings in modern studios. This guide provides a clear look at our current workshops, how they support healthier movement, and what participants can expect.

Why Mobility and Recovery Workshops Matter

Workshops offer something weekly classes often cannot: time to explore, understand, to feel what’s happening inside the body and ask questions with a trainer, unlike a class where we don't engage in dialogue or Q and A.

Participants learn foundational principles of:

  • myofascial release

  • joint mobility

  • movement mechanics

  • prop-supported techniques

  • nervous system regulation

These skills benefit every mover, regardless of background.

Core Elements Included in Our Workshops

1. Myofascial Release Education

Student performing a supported myofascial release technique.
Myofascial release supports tissue hydration, mobility, and recovery.

Participants learn targeted pressure

techniques that help:

  • reduce pain

  • reduce tension

  • correct imbalances

  • support mobility

  • improve postural awareness

Workshops offer a structured environment to learn these techniques safely and effectively.

2. Foundational Mobility + Movement Concepts

Mobility work in our workshops includes:

  • spacial-awareness (proprioception)

  • active range of motion

  • stabilization strategies

  • movement patterns

  • breath integration

These concepts enhance the way participants move both inside and outside the studio.

3. Purposeful Use of Props

Workshops integrate a range of supportive tools including:

  • straps

  • bolsters

  • therapy balls

  • foam rollers

  • Yoga Triangles™

  • traditional yoga blocks

Props allow participants to explore mobility with greater clarity and support.

Instructor guiding a group through a mobility sequence using props.
Props enhance access, stability, and awareness in mobility-based practices.

4. Nervous System Reset

Workshops naturally blend slow pacing, breathwork, and mindful transitions to support parasympathetic downshifting—an important part of sustainable recovery.

Our Current Workshop Offerings

Below is an overview of the workshops we currently offer, designed for studios, fitness facilities, and community partners.

Neck & Upper Back Care: Self-Massage + Mobility

ree

This workshop focuses on the cervical and thoracic spine, addressing common tension areas such as the traps, pecs, rhomboids, and shoulders. Participants learn supportive self-massage techniques, prop-based releases, and mobility tools that ease discomfort and improve posture.

Hips & Low Back Reset: Self-Massage + Mobility

ree

A workshop designed to address low back tightness, hip mobility restrictions, psoas tension, and glute function. This experience supports everyday movement as well as athletic performance and recovery.

This workshop teaches self-application and accomodates for Q and A, plus hands-on support if desired.

Recovery Workshop

ree

Designed specifically for hybrid, strength-forward athletes, this workshop includes a combination of mobility flow, targeted myofascial release, and recovery education. It’s ideal for participants who train at high intensity or multiple days per week.

Perfect for gyms and fitness communities looking to expose their members to benefits of yoga, recovery practices and workshop style Q and A learning.

Workshops are more playful and have time for discussion and exploration, very different from classes.

Find Your Angle Workshop

ree

A yoga-focused movement lab exploring angles, leverage, and stability using the Yoga Triangle™. Participants learn how different shapes and prop placements (for vinyasa, yin, and restorative) to create more supported, accessible, or refined ranges of motion.

This is a great workshop for yogis to explore.

Bring Your Dog to Yoga (Community Building)

ree

A playful, welcoming play-shop hosted with pet-friendly partners. Participants enjoy movement, mindfulness, and community connection alongside their dogs— with treats provided for both pups and humans from our partners!

We love working with organizations to help support pets in need and believe in the healing energy that our furry friends add to our daily lives.
